The alligators have returned to Uncle Buck's Bayou! |

Elvis and his friends [a total of five alligators] are out of hibernation and have been released into Uncle Buck's Bayou located in front of Bass Pro Shop. These five (5) alligators are on loan from Natchitoches Alligator Park where hundreds of alligators are raised and displayed in their habitats each year. The 3,000 square foot Bass Pro Shops' alligator habitat was constructed with nearly nine tons of steel and 100 cubic yards of concrete. The enclosure is fenced with an eight foot steel fence and has alligator guards to prevent people from reaching into the enclosure and to also keep the gators a safe distance from spectators. Bass Pro Shop's gator exhibit will include educational feeding demonstrations and fun facts to learn about gators and their living habits. |
